Why Are We Doing This?

Child's Play Logo

All profits of Level Up goes directly to the Child's Play Charity. They use the money to provide entertainment to children who are forced to stay in hospital for long periods of time. This helps them relax in an otherwise disconcerting environment and escape reality for a bit while playing so they can focus on getting better.

It's a really great charity set up by the founders of the popular web-comic; Penny Arcade and it's been running since 2003 donating millions of dollars worth of games and toys to over 60 hospitals worldwide. Some of the toys donated stays with some of the patients, however consoles stays in the hospital so that everyone has a chance to relax and play a game.
